Actually, it can be set to be faster, but additional ingredients are needed which are commonly called accelerators. However, with the existence of this material, automatic additional costs are needed. Semen Sotya can be stronger faster because of its basic ingredients. Conventional cement generally uses limestone as raw material. While Sotya cement is made from slag smelter waste, aka slag.



Sotya estimated, Geo Fast succeeded in attracting the jury because it could have a positive impact on the Indonesian people. Moreover, the government is currently intensively building infrastructure such as roads and buildings.

Seeing great potential, Sotya founded a technology-based startup. It's called PT Geo Fast Indonesia. The pioneering effort took part in the incubation program so that it could become independent and sustainable.

Businessly, Sotya said that her business did not require a large investment. The raw material is derived from stone-shaped smelter. Then crushed until smooth into cement. "Can also ask for waste in the form of powder from smelters," she said.

He once trialled her findings to build a mushola and parking lot at the Faculty of Engineering, UI. The results are quite good with dry duration or maximum strengthening faster than casting with ordinary cement.

The challenge faced by Sotya is the cost of Geo Fast production which is still more expensive compared to conventional cement. He estimated that it would be more expensive around 50 percent. However, she is optimistic, if produced on a large scale, the costs can be reduced.

For product introduction to potential investors, Sotya prepares 10 tons of Geo Fast stock. The amount is not much. Because, one Molen car is usually filled with 2.4 tons of cement.
